Home styling has always been my creative outlet. It could be helping family and friends out when they ask for design tips, or sharing the latest pictures of my home on my Instagram feed.  So, when my home in Aberdeen’s West End was featured on the BBC’s Scotland’s Home of the Year I was blown away by the supportive feedback.  It made me think – could I turn this into a career?  Fast forward to early 2021, and I helped a close friend prepare her one-bedroom flat for the market, loaning her some decorative accessories, rearranging the furniture and advising her on other tweaks to get her flat in tip-top condition. In just four days, it was under offer. Then, it sold for more than the asking price. Remarkable in a saturated and unpredictable market, where her flat was competing against around 500 similar properties.  West End Styling was born. Since then, we’ve grown through word of mouth and overjoyed clients. And we’ve achieved similar success in home staging for properties in and around Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire – including staging for sale a 17th century Scottish castle for New Zealand-based owners. As many more people in Scotland turn to home staging to help sell their properties, I look forward to helping you show off your home in the best possible light.
