Hi – Thanks for clicking on my profile! My name is Victoria Rodgers and I am the Director of VMR Home Staging.   The idea of VMR Home Staging was born back in 2014 when my now husband (Peter) and I decided to sell our individual properties in order to buy a larger property together.  My home sold within 10 days going to best and final offers (of course it did!). In my eyes Peter’s needed a little TLC shall we say.  After investing a couple of days into preparing his house it was launched on to the sales market for £175K. Following 2 weeks of viewings it went to sealed bids and he accepted an offer of £203K.  For the investment of 2 days and approx. £500 his property achieved £28k above the asking price! I knew this was a service other property owners could benefit from and I’ve not looked back since!   In the beginning we assisted home owners preparing their properties for the sales market and this still continues strongly today. However, it soon became clear that empty properties also massively benefitted from staging and so we invested in our own high-quality furniture which we use to dress unoccupied properties.  We noticed that furniture rental from large third-party companies could be really expensive and we became passionate about providing high-quality furniture at a reasonable price.  As this part of our business has grown we now have an inventory made up of over 1,000 quality items! Our speciality is making our projects jump-off the page via the on-line platforms encouraging potential buyers to book a viewing. When potential buyers visit one of properties we consider all elements – lighting, smell, textures and colours to make their viewing experience a positive on all levels. If they can’t imagine themselves living there they won’t buy it!!
