Exhibiting at World Art Dubai: Where the World’s Art Comes Together

Maja Kerin, an award-winning artist known for her unique ‘painting photography’ style, had the opportunity to display her fine art photography at World Art Dubai, which took place from March 8th to March 12th at the Dubai World Trade Centre. This year’s event was highly successful, with over 10,000 visitors, more than 50 workshops and activations with industry experts, and over 300 exhibitors displaying 4,000 artworks from 60 countries worldwide.

The event was inaugurated by Her Excellency Hala Badri, Director General of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, and Korea was the Guest of Honor, showcasing its vibrant art scene through various forms, including a traditional Hanbok fashion show, tea-tasting ceremony, and cultural performances.

Visitors enjoyed a continuous stream of experiential art activations and engaging live art performances, curated art talks, and creative workshops. They were able to customize their experience at WAD to appreciate all the immersive art and culture. The event also had a dedicated area for street art enthusiasts, with live street art activation, graffiti, freestyle dances, music, and more.

As an artist, Maja showcased special edition circular prints and was delighted to be chosen by the event’s curators to display her ‘Radio Soho’ artwork on the stage as part of the Art Walk. She was also featured on the World Art Dubai Instagram account, where they had beautiful words to say about her work.

World Art Dubai was an incredible experience, particularly for those who are passionate about the world of art.
